What Is Microchipping?
Microchipping is a simple procedure during which a chip that’s roughly the size of a grain of rice is implanted just under the skin between the shoulder blades. The chip is inserted using a syringe, and the sensation is similar to that of a vaccination. Each chip has a unique number which is linked to an online account registered to you and your pet. If your pet ever gets lost and is scanned for a chip, the scanner displays the number which can then be used to obtain your information.
