The Importance of Wellness Visits

Every pet should have a wellness exam at least once per year. Twice-yearly exams are often recommended for senior companion animals and those with certain health conditions. Wellness care plays a vital role in the early detection of illness and disease and can greatly enhance your companion’s quality of life. It can even increase the number of healthy, happy years you’ll get to spend together.

Our in-home wellness exams include ear, eye, heart, lung, orthopedic, skin, and dental exams. Depending on your pet’s age, medical history, and certain environmental risk factors, we may also recommend laboratory tests.

I just want to say that Dr.Mini is by far the Most compassionate, caring, attention to detail Vet that I have ever had the pleasure to deal with. Unfortunately, the circumstances that required me to reach out to her were not pleasurable as we had to put my dog down. She managed her schedule to come same day so our dog didn’t have to suffer and she did everything in her power to make a sad situation bearable. I HIGHLY recommend Happy Paws to anyone who wants a vet that genuinely treats your pet like it is part of your family.
